Kenny Lewis and One Voice was formed in January of 1999 and recorded their first album a year later entitled “The Bridge” which was produced by Kenny Lewis. The Bridge was released on Marxan/Malaco Records in 2002 and garnered the hits “Yes” and the self-titled track “The Bridge”. Stan North of Gospelflava.com describes this project as a “rich musical buffet”. With Kenny Lewis & One Voice making their mark, the story only begins there. The group, once again, under the production of Kenny Lewis, held a live recording at Chicago’s historic West Point Baptist Church under the umbrella of ICEE/Koch records. Kenny Lewis and One Voice’s “Everybody Everybody” was released in 2007 and was a radio smash. It went as high as number 8 on the Gospel charts and top 80 on Urban AC radio respectively. Their next recorded project entitled “The Mission” (released fall 2009) also garnered the Gospel top 15 hit “I Am”.

Their third release entitled “The Way of Escape” was released in 2015 and it featured a variety of genres (Praise and Worship, Choral, Urban, Contemporary and Traditional) and was well received. The lead single “Hero” was another success for the group on the Billboard charts and garnered the group a Stellar Award nomination.

Kenny Lewis & One Voice released their fourth album “Refocus” on May 19th 2017 with guest appearances by Zacardi Cortez and Lisa Knowles-Smith. The album debuted in the top 10 on the Billboard Gospel Album Sales charts. Love Song was the first single from the album and remained on Billboard Gospel Airplay charts for 5 months. The latest single from Refocus, “Thank You” is now impacting radio. The group is scheduled for a promo tour summer 2018.
