Joey Job releases the video for his song “Can’t Hold Me Down”.
Here is what Joey Job had to say about the new release… “I was inspired to shoot this video in the wake of all that is going on inside the Black American communities. It is my hope to bring awareness to the fact that we as a people need to start to help ourselves first, instead of always looking for help from others. I believe in the phrase spoken by “Benjamin Franklin” saying “‘THE MOST HIGH helps those that help themselves;” So it is my belief that we need to start helping one another, supporting one another, as well as loving one another; And start treating each other like family, and that’s with love; because I’m also a firm believer that “Blood Doesn’t Make Family, Love Makes Family. Black America seems to have all of the religions, but none of the faith, so at some point we must realize, that we must get off of our knees, and stand on our feet and fight; And it is my hope that this video “Can’t Hold Me Down” can in some way help us as a people to move forward in removing the hate for one another, and bring back the love for one another.
