“Find You Now” is the title of Duncan Morley’s debut music video, costarring 50 Cent’s nemesis, Rick Ross. And Rhyme Junkie has it first.
While growing up in Boston, MA, Morley was pretty much hell-on-wheels, always instigating trouble and outlandish schemes. After stealing a car and getting involved in a high-speed chase with the police, Morley’s parents decided to take action, which landed him in alternative correctional facilities, wilderness programs, and military school. Nothing worked.
Until meditation entered the picture. According to Morley, “the more you do it, the brighter and brighter you become.” Meditation led to clarity, which led to Morley studying studio recording in Los Angeles, which led to a new found love for pop music.
Morley’s music caught the attention of The Boss. On the surface, “Find You Now” is about lost love. On another level, it’s about finding the point vierge in the here and now.
The song opens with a potent, pulsing hip hop groove rife with filaments of pop color. Morley’s voice, smooth and silky, contains a deep sensual timbre that’s captivating.
Directed by Spiff TV, the video radiates affluence, plump cars, mansions, tropical settings, and beautiful women. Yet among all this encompassing wealth and glamor, the focus of the images is that something is missing.
“Find You Now” emanates a cool, fresh sound riding a shimmering melody and a hefty rhythmic pulsation. Morley’s sleek tenor secures the honeyed tones, while Ross’ rasping baritone brings the deep power. “Find You Now” really heats things up.
