Formerly well known artist Marcux Monarch, returns from a short hiatus with a new and improved sense of self. Now known as “Giovanni Sollipto”, the “prince” in dark armor sheds his war torn helmet that is the past and powers up for a new chapter by kicking off 2019 with a new form to his artistry.
“Broly!” Is looking to be his hottest single to date and seems to have been released in perfect timing as not only Japan, but America, has waited several years for the return of Akira Toriyama’s world renowned anime franchise known as “Dragon Ball”. In particular, the most beloved movie character turned canon; “Broly”. In this song, Giovanni equates his past struggles with religion due to a strict “cultist type” household and how he felt almost “trapped” on his own mental planet as the character Broly and his father Paragus were trapped on “Planet Vampa” in the new movie. He also speaks on trust issues with friends and the music industry. To top it off, he adds a few “no love lost” lines after speaking on the household and feelings of isolation and bitterness toward his (at the time step-family).
