Eric Essebag is a New York-based producer x guitarist and founder of Caché Life [A downtown Manhattan cultural curator], born in NYC to Spanish Moroccan Jewish and Hungarian roots, his father being a classical guitarist, Eric was exposed to an array of music and his father’s record collection at a very young age, ranging from Jazz to Flamenco to Classical to Blues. At age 7 he moved to Hungary with his mother where at age 13 he found a love for Rock music and the electric guitar, leading him to eventually play with, learn from, and be surrounded by Hungary’s finest musicians in Budapest and exceptionally talented gypsy musicians in Hungary.
A Trippy Funky Disco was produced during the lockdown in Erics apartment in NYC featuring incredibly talented local artist from the Caché Life community on the record.
The song showcases a blend of funk, disco house and fusion jazz, Eric wanted to create something that showcases Caché Lifes music aesthetics and cultural vibe that they have set in downtown Manhattan.
