Shannon K was born in India and moved to UK at a very young age. She started learning music from ABRSM UK, and would make her unplanned debut at the age of 12 when her younger sister Annabel came home from school in tears. Inspired, Shannon K began writing down some lyrics and crafting a melody. This later turned into her song, “Roll Back The Years.”
In this video, Shannon K explores a relationship where a girl must gain the confidence to stand up to her boyfriend that she suspects is cheating. The video reflects Shannon’s beliefs that boys and girls should be truly equal, and that we all need to respect each other’s emotions!
