Prince Ice has grown into one of the premiere DJs of the last few decades. His climb to the top started with a win at the KSOL Battle of the DJs, in San Francisco, which quickly propelled him to the forefront of the Bay Area DJ scene. He has been a veteran radio DJ at stations such as KIIS FM, KMEL, 92.3 The Beat, Q102, KSOL and others with a unique blend of Electro, Dance, House, and Hip-Hop. Being responsible for playing some of the earliest House records on radio, Prince Ice began headlining the biggest clubs in San Francisco and many surrounding cities, where he help build the culture. Soon, he was traveling to bring his mix of styles to the Los Angeles club scene where he continued to build his popularity. Fans and new audiences could soon hear him mixing and producing the nationally syndicated Sway & King Tech “Wake Up Show” throughout the 1990s. With a national audience and sold out club performances, Prince Ice has appeared on many TV shows and even found himself being featured in various books focused on the DJ scene and the significant role he played in its development. DJ Prince Ice has also worked and promoted artists such as Michael Jackson, J Lo, Shakira, Wu Tang Clan, Common, Beatnuts, Bone Thugs N Harmony among others. He is bringing back that Funky House sound that is the backbone of the movement. Although, he has recently only been performing for private events, most of which are on the level of notoriety such as the Universal Music Group official Grammy’s party, he is back to spread the funky House sound with his new track “Dirty Little Bitch”.
