Part of the song it goes “Youngin in a new lane Otn Be the gang since a younging stood the same on my momma never Change” which translates to being in a new lane is in reference to first chasing the basketball dream and going to the NBA and switching lanes/passions from ball to music. Song is an anthem for climbing the ladder of success and making it to the top. Song was recorded in Jamaica studio Signature Soundz Studios. Video was shot in Corona, Queens and in Lefrak City specifically.
