Genève – Constellation (Audio)

Genève, originally from Germany, is a singer, songwriter, and producer. Her unique sound of dance-pop could be described as ‘a fusion of classical melodies layered upon soul-grabbing chords and unforgettable rhythms’.

Genève released her first single “Constellation” in June 2016, which has quickly garnered positive feedback from listeners in every major social media channel and also front page placement on the blog . After the music video release for “Constellation”, she will follow up with her second single “Wings”. She is currently working on a 5 song EP which is set to release in the fall.

Genève got her start in music at a young age, picking up piano at age 6 and was singing ‘before she could talk’. Growing up in a rural town in Northern California inspired her to delve deeply into her love of music and she would constantly travel to nearby cities to watch her favorite artists perform. She began writing in her early teens and decided then that music is what she wanted to pursue. While studying and traveling throughout Europe and Asia, including a transformational trek through the Himalayas, she took interest in producing. After two years abroad, Genève made the decision to move to Los Angeles to focus solely on her music career.

After collaborating with several different producers, Genève realized that she wanted to fully learn the craft herself, and enrolled in a music production course at Icon Collective. Gaining the tools to have full artistic control over her work marked a huge turning point in her development, after which she began relentlessly writing and producing material.

Her growth both musically and spiritually, along with her travels, helped shape the message that this EP delivers. She believes it is a message that is much needed at this time: a message of hope.
