With their new single “EASY”, Berlin based duo ONE:FIFTY want to remind listeners that love is often irrational. Known for their music which blends warm, high-end productions with emotional and profound lyrics, ONE:FIFTY wanted to find a way to invoke the raw emotions within their listeners. Throughout the track, warm, embracing flows are met with an atmosphere of melancholy, creating two important aspects of love. Within the video, a transparent cloth in the wind embodies easiness; a seductive looking girl incorporates toxic temptation; and a blindfold and a katana sword shine light on the dangers of naivety. As a result, the duo exceed their ultimate goal of conveying an important message to listeners, that being the importance of self-love, setting boundaries, and not valuing your worth based upon another person.
