Combining darker styles with story telling rap, Maui // WHY BE SAD? is track three off Jay Case’s Nihilist album. Jay Case is a 22 year old rapper/producer from Massachusetts. The song itself touches themes like battling inner demons and wanting for more out of life. These demons are personified by a faceless character who marks others to follow him in a cult-like way. Maui // WHY BE SAD? is the first of five videos and will become scene three of the Nihilist short film project.
