Kawin Kornthong is an independent singer/songwriter based in Bangkok, Thailand. He is a part time musician in college and still is one now at work. His work included ‘Abuse Me, Amuse Me’ (2013), ‘Pardon Me, I Don’t Have Any Legs’ (2015) ‘What Rings a Bell Does Not Go Well’ (2016) ‘Fossilized Golden Rhyme’ (2017), and more album that didn’t make it to other streaming service outside Thailand (yep… we have a local one).
But mostly, his works are in short films and documentaries, such as ‘Upside Down’ (Selected, Queer Film Festival, Hamburg, 2018), and some government-funded anthropology documentaries.
The new single ‘Rhythm of Love’ (2018) is written to be a slow burn acid jazz with classical influence about urban life. As mundane as it sounds, he insists that you judge its meaning its rhythm, its chords, by yourself, as he writes his own bio in third person.
