The song features on his third studio album “Fvms” (pronounced “Famous”, thetypography being a stylisation of the original word but with a whole new meaning) which is available to pre-order now on iTunes, Amazon and his official store; to be released on 5th January 2017. The album’s biggest artistic influence was from The 1975 who informed its visual execution and sonic aesthetic. In addition the The !975, Liam H draws inspiration from artists like M83, Nicki Minaj, Thirty Seconds to Mars, and Lady Gage, among others. Liam Hcreated this new colloquialism and is defined as follows: Fvms – A false sense of one’s own or another’s fame or accomplishment. The music of the album explores this concept with “Sell Me” being no exception; the music video is a summarisation of the message ofthe whole album expressed visually.

The music video for “Sell Me” metaphorically explores the world’s obsession with celebrity and fame within the context of the internet through two symbols. The first symbol is a derelict building within a quiet suburban setting. This represents a cancer within the heart of society, this cancer being the hub of activity of everything fake, dishonest and just plain evil. Liam H steps within this derelict building during the video in an attempt to challenge the negative impact this cancer has on our society by creating music that exists within this negative space. The music contains a message designed to attack the very core ideology that is supporting the derelict building’s walls; a cancer within a cancer if you like. The second symbol is the semi naked male and female figures. They represent the innocent human soul, a soul that is slowly corrupted during the videoby the internet; represented by its associated technology which feeds them negativeobsessive ideologies. The innocent human soul eventually breaks at the end of the video as both people are depicted to die with technology entwined around their bodies; theirsmart phones clasped in their cold dead hands
